Love it! I also add the tea to my cacao paste in the morning to give me a little extra boost. I love the roasted aroma and smooth taste it adds.

Love the smell and tastes great.. lighter profile than cacao but I can still feel the spirit of the cacao.. it’s very comfort feeling when I need to drink something light.
I love this tea!!! At first I didn't quite appreciate it. Then I started finding the right amount to use. I like about 3 teaspoons of tea in my (compostable:) tea bag. So delicious!!! Thank you, MYP! And the farmers & cacao!
I came across Solveig and her father’s video series online over a year ago. The things they shared resonated with me very deeply. After joining the Mayan Wisdom community, I have ordered the cacao and it is a subtly profound experience when I enjoy a cup of it occasionally. It helps awaken my cognitive processes and open my perceptions. I am incredibly grateful to be alive today and able to experience this awakening process.

This cacao tea is something I have been seeking for a long time. With its rich, deep cocoa flavor and slightly woody, smoky freshness, it is divine. It smells and tastes absolutely delicious, and doesn't have all the unnecessary sugar that is usually added to most cocoa drinks. Also, I have Crohn;s disease with an ulcer and this tea digests just fine, leaves me feeling good, no digestive issues at all. It seems to be mild or moderate in caffeine content, and has the natural slight sweetness of cacao, it really is so wonderful!

I reviewed previously and gave it 3 stars. I’m updating my review as I just finished the bag. The smoky flavor dissipated. I think the tea was just really fresh and tasted like Guatemala initially! I’ve spent time there and there is a smoky smell to a lot of items in the mountains and in the countryside. Next time I will transfer it to another container as soon as I open it to air it out.
I tasted the té de cacao for the first time today. I had been drinking another brand that I had bought in Guatemala a while back. This one has a smoky after taste to it that I don't like much, but it's possible the other one had sugar or some other additives in it that mitigated that flavor.

This tea is so delicious! I love it so much, it’s so “chocolatey” without being too sweet and not bitter either, just smooth cacao. I’m definitely going to order more.
This is the first time I’ve tried Cacao tea and omg, it is delicious!! Deep and luscious chocolatey smoky flavor. HIGHLY recommend. I have been having this in the morning instead of coffee and I don’t get a crash like I do sometimes with coffee. Thank you!

Tastes great and top quality
I knew about cacao, but I didn't even know there was a cacao tea. I LOVE TEA!! I drink hot tea everyday. I drank the first cup without sugar, because I wanted to know what the tea without enhancements tasted like. I loved it without sugar. The next cup, I added sugar. Honestly, the sugar didn't add anything to it. I didn't try honey because honey has its own flavor and I didn't want to add a different flavor. So I don't add anything, because it doesn't need anything. It's just GOOD!!

Wow! This tea is AMAZING! It smells wonderful and tastes just like cacao only smoother and not as strong. As it is quicker to prepare than ceremonial cacao this is a great alternative if you haven't got much time. I also like that anyone can drink this meaning when holding a space for others this could be an alternative for those with contraindications with ceremonial cacao. I will definitely be having this tea on a regular basis.

This was the first time I've tried cacao tea, and I'm so pleased I did. The aroma and flavour are incredibly unique to any tea I have ever tasted. I found the taste so smooth, not bitter or harsh in any way. It wasn't overly sweet either. I could almost sense and feel the soulfulness of this tea. I'm pleased to say this has quickly become part of my morning rituals to embrace each day on mother earth - thank you The Mayan Wisdom Project for bringing this to us and all that you do.

Absolutely amazing. I love this Cacao tea. It is an excellent choice to alternate between daily 100% Cacao practice. The taste is delicious. One teaspoon in a cup and when you finished drinking it, you can even add more hot water and let it sit to have an xtra cup. I love the concept of the cacao husk so much that I bought a whole pound. I will definitely purchase again and again. I have been practicing Cacao drinking for 3 years almost daily. To me it’s my sacred time to connect with mama Cacao, and Pachamama honoring the ancestors and the ancient Mayan traditions It helps me to stay grounded and in my heart. Thank you for this superb tea as well as the 100% Cacao it is as equally exquisite. I have tried many other companies in 3 years. I just discovered The Mayan Wisdom Project about a month and half ago, and from now on I settle with The Mayan Wisdom Project as I found it to be the best. I love it.
