Explore The 5 month Program

The 20-Week Healing Experience is guided by Maya teachers from the Kaqchikel Nations + the support of Solveig Barrios, daughter of renowned Elder Carlos Barrios. The program will be offered to 13 people only because you get special & personalized attention directly from the Maya healers!

Week 1: Intro + Fire Ceremony + Group Session

- 1 group introduction to the 20 weeks + we will hold a fire ceremony to begin guided by a Mayan Elder to open our mind, body, heart, and spirit in the beginning of this journey.
- 1 support group session where you will meet the fellow participants of this healing program and we will get to share why we're here & our reflections of the opening fire ceremony.

Week 2: Private Session + Group Session

- 1 (1.5 to 2 hour) private session with Solveig Barrios where she will get to hear what brings you here and assess what your journey will look like in the next 5 months by taking a profound look at your Mayan Chart with you!
- 1 support group session with the other participants to talk about our journey and goals together now that everyone has a deep overview and information on their journey based on their Mayan Chart. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

Week 3: Group Session With Healer + Group Session

- 1 group session guided by an amazing Maya healer who will share with us what it really takes to do the work of healing ourselves physcially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Plus, a section for Q&A and group conversations with the healer.
- 1 support group session where we will all share our thoughts and reflections of our first three weeks + what we learned from the healer this week + updates on how we are doing. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

Week 4: Private Session + Group Session

- 1 (1.5 to 2 hour) private session with a Maya Healer where she will interview you on where you are at health wise. What is beautiful is that she will start digging very deep into the diagnosis and finding out what's going on with you beyond the physical things. She will dig into your past and help you figure out where your symptoms are coming from and then help carve a path to heal from the inside out holistically.
- 1 support group session with the other participants to talk about our current journey, reflections, and revelations we've all had after talking to the healer privately. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

BREAK: Time to rest and integrate

1 WEEK BREAK - Because we will be doing very deep and important work, every few weeks we will let you rest and recharge + take time to integrate the work you've been doing.
We will send you little exercises such as mini meditations you can do during this time!

Week 5: Group Session With Spiritual Leader + Group Session

- 1 group ceremony guided by an amazing Maya spiritual leader. We will do a Maya fire ceremony focused on working on healing our ancestors. We will ask you to look into your family tree and together we will do an offering for all of our ancestors to begin cleansing our lineage.
- 1 support group session where we will all share our thoughts and reflections on the ceremony + update each other on our progress. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

Week 6: Private Session + Group Session

- 1 (1.5 to 2 hour) private session with a Maya Spiritual Leader, this will be an advisory style session where you will get to share with him what you are going through and working on in a therapy style setting. He will give you a Maya perspective and healing excersices to help you move forward in your healing.
- 1 support group session with the other participants to talk about our current journey, reflections, and revelations we've all had after talking to the spiritual leade privately. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

Week 7: Excercise + Group Session

- 1 excercise - even though we will provide many excercises, this week we will put a very big focus on an ancient excercise Carlos Barrios found essential for patients to heal which is all about introspection and a deep analysis of your life. 
- 1 support group session with the other participants to talk about our current journey, reflections, and understandings from the week's excercise. You get the opportunity to share or just listen in.

After week 7, paths will become much more individualized as you will have the option to choose what areas of yourself you would want to focus more on. We will continue to meet weekly for our Group Sessions, but you will also be meeting individually and in private with our Maya leaders. While for one person, it may be best to meet once a week for consecutive weeks with a particular healer, for another person it may be better to meet for a specific type of ceremony/ session with another Maya leader at a specific date in accordance to need. We will also be taking feedback from the overall group to guide what the general Group Sessions look like and consult with our Maya leaders to best approach the group sessions.

At this point you will be due to have:
- 5 private sessions
- 13 support group sessions
- 7 group session guided by the healers and spiritual leaders
